I have two closets, my own and my mom's! We share everything: shoes, clothes, purses, jewelry... it's awesome, except when you're fighting over one specific piece and you have to decide which event warrants it more, lol She gets the short end of the stick though because obviously I haven't had as much time (or money!) to build up a wardrobe like hers.

LOL; I always do this. My mom is basically obsessed with jewelry so she has quite the collection for me to look at. I always joke that going into my mom's jewelry box is like going shopping at Tiffany & Co's. Also, just now, I noticed I'm wearing her ring, necklace, earrings and bracelet! Ha.

My mom has old lady jewelry - and not the good, vintage kind. I shouldn't even mention the SAS shoes she wears along with the "mom" jeans...yeah...I don't really want to raid her closet EVER.

lol we have completely different tastes ... my moms jewellery is really blingy ... not somethin I would wear everyday ... maybe if it was a formal occasion n I had to dress up ...but I did steal her sarwoski earrings (gave them to her for mothers day)

No way, not her jewelry. She likes expensive gold and diamonds so I would be too scared to borrow them. Plus, even if I wanted to, she wouldn't let me haha. On the other hand, I have no problem borrowing her clothes and shoes :)

My mom is quite fashionable so whenever I'm in town I'm always checking out her jewelry.

I wouldn't dare! My mom would kill me if I ever lost her heart-shaped Avon earrings. (But they go so nicely with candy cane knit turtlenecks that sometimes it's worth the risk!)no seriously, I love my mom, but sometimes I wish I had the kind of mom they mention in Vogue--the one with all the cool vintage clothes that they recommend you borrow.

I always do this. I take her vintage heels, sunglasses, bag, and much more. That's the reason I don't want a daughter in future.

I have to ask my Mom first. She'd freak out if I took her jewelry without asking. That's a no-no.

LoL...I thought so, then I started seeing my brother "borrow" and eventually keep all my clothes...I'm like...wtf...where'd all my socks and tshirts go?...oh...

I've been borrowing my mom's belts recently, LOL, I need to buy some new ones, HAHA. :) Nice tactic nancita, LOL.And yeah, I would probably be to afraid of breaking/losing my mom's nice jewelry to borrow it.

I have developed a new tactic: I compliment my mom's jewelry, or borrow it, and then she decides I should just keep it.

I was always afraid of losing my mom's jewelry too, so I never borrowed it out of the house...but I would often put it on just for fun. I loved this one blue ring my dad bought for my mom and another diamond ring from my great grandmother. I love them so much!

Great Question, Miss Dear! When I was growing up I was fascinated by a glass heartthat my father made my mother. It hung on a silver chain.I would constantly open the box it was in and stare at itwith awe. Then one day I took it and wore it to school and lost it.
