This Wedding Had a Real Owl as the Ring Bearer

Violaine and Gaetan's wedding included a groom arriving via canoe, bridal portraits in a fir forest, a giant tepee for the ceremony, and, oh yeah, a tiny little owl as the ring bearer. The woodsy big day took place at Haut Bois Normand in Quebec, Canada, and was shot by Bonnallie Brodeur. The photographer had this to say about the couple — who he describes as a pirate and his sweetheart — and the wedding:

"Upon our arrival, we noticed the beautiful tepee awaiting, the colored ribbons, and the owl. Yes, a real owl! It was also awaiting the ceremony since it was in charge of bringing the rings. Our hearts melted even more. That day was filled with surprises — good ones, of course — but the ceremony reached new heights when Violaine grabbed her ukulele to sing Gaetan her vows. It was beautiful."
