A Succulent-Filled Big Day in LA

Roya and Taylor tied the knot at the SmogShoppe, a sort of urban oasis in Los Angeles. Bride Roya notes that Taylor won her over with his "wit and charm mid law school via gchat." After a postgraduation long-distance relationship, the couple ended up together again in DC and were engaged shortly after. Roya is first generation American, and they celebrated her family's Middle Eastern roots by incorporating some traditional elements in the wedding.

Favorite Moment

Taylor: "My favorite moment of the day was seeing Roya for the first time in her wedding dress. Seeing her for the first time and how amazing she looked brought together the whole day before the event even started. I thought, 'Let's get this started.'"

Roya: "Having so many of our family and friends there with us was the best part of our day. I am so happy to be with Taylor every day, but moving to DC meant being apart from my family and friends on the West Coast. It was so wonderful to have our families and friends meet and celebrate with us on that day. We are so grateful to have so much love in our life."
