Autistic Teen Receives Hate Mail

A Jaw-Droppingly Offensive Letter About an Autistic Teen

Every parent wants their children to fit in and get along with their peers, so you can imagine a Newcastle, Ontario, mom’s horror when she received a letter suggesting that her autistic teen be euthanized.

An anonymous note was sent to 13-year-old Max's grandmother's house saying that Max is a neighborhood "nuisance," "retarded," and a "dreadful" noise polluter, the Huffington Post reports. As a result of the letter, the family is worried about their safety and would like to press charges if they can determine who sent the letter.
