Babiators Baby Aviator Sunglasses

Babiators Lil Shades: Gaga or Gag?

A baby rocking a pair of sunnies is pretty cute, but would you let your lil one wear a pair of Babiators? The baby aviators, which offer protection from UVA and UVB rays, have been spotted on Sarah Jessica Parker’s twins and on little Roc (shown above), Mariah Carey's superhip son.

While the sunglasses ($20) undoubtedly look cool, the company also says they are good for your baby. Babiators says little eyes have fewer natural protections against UV exposure, making them more likely to be damaged by the sun. The glasses are also made without BPA, phthalates, and lead-based paint, so they won't be harmful when they inevitably end up in baby's mouth. They come in four colors and two sizes: one for babes ages 1 to 3 and one for kids 3-plus. Apparently, these shades are sturdy, too: if your Babiators break within one year of purchase with normal wear and tear, the company gives you a free replacement.

Yes!  Something reasonably priced and so good to protect little eyes.  Finally something I can say yes too.
