Baby Bjorn High Chair

International Product Envy: Baby Bjorn High Chair

There are high chairs, and then there are child chairs with flair! As baby product manufacturers move to more decor-friendly designs, mama finds herself wanting to swap out items she already has.

BabyBjörn, a brand known for its minimalist and functional design now offers a high chair. The sleek, black and white molded seat forgoes the typical fabric harness, using a foldable table (otherwise known as a tray) that locks into place to secure tots in the chair. The lack of harness makes it easy to wipe down and eliminates the cruddy fabric that just never seems clean. Unfortunately, like many products we envy from afar the seat is not available stateside yet, but if you are intrigued by the design, check out the similar Nano that is sold here.

that high chair looks like by the time i'd feel secure with the age of the child in it they would be nearly into a regular chair and table anyway.

I think the plastic looks kinda cheep...Like something from Ikea (I love Ikea...but their high chairs go for a lot less...)
