Baby Bump: Mamatotowear

Mamatotowear, meaning "motherinfant" in Swahili, is the clothing line of mompreneur, Hanna Bark. The Swedish born, mother of one started the line of bellyprints — tops that have designs that change with the growing belly and tunics while she was pregnant with daughter, Dora.

Her basic, solid colored nursing tops are the modest new mommy's answer to breastfeeding baby in public without flashing postpartum flesh. The simple cotton and Lycra garments have an overlap of fabric that allows the baby to snuggle up to eat without adjusting the top or having the threat of being exposed.

The shirts come in seven shades and cost $48. They can also be worn during pregnancy.

i would totally go for some of the long sleeved ones if they weren't $52. i also just work a tank top underneath my other shirt and pulled the shirt up and the tank top down to nurse.

I think they're really cute, but I can tell you just from looking that the cut isn't going to be helpful for full-busted women at all. I just wear a regular tank under my shirts with slits cut into them. That way my belly's covered even when I left my shirt to nurse.

Those look awesome. Most nursing tops look too fussy for me.

I've always found nursing covers to be far more cumbersome than simply nursing. Plus they scream "Look at me! I'm nursing under here!!" which doesn't work for discreetness. I used a blanket with one, but the other one freaked with anything over his head. So screw it if someone caught a momentarily flash. I was careful but ya can't win 'em all.

good idea, but I'm not crazy about the styling - too matronly for me.
