Moms worry when they send their child to sleepaway camp for the first time but are instantly comforted when they receive a letter describing their kid's fun-filled days. Of course, not every note talks about boat rides and walks in the woods. Liesl Testwuide of Hairpin Turns Ahead received a more amusing letter from her son, W, while he was away for the Summer. The letter reads:
Good you packt extra underwear, since I had diyareeya. It got on my shoes but not my pillow. I'm having fun at camp and learning stuff. I rock at winserfing and kyaking. I've ate more push-pops then anyone. I've ate 23 since Monday. Still two days left. 37 is the rekerd and I can beat it. Sweet!
So next time your child puts up a fight about packing more underwear, just remember that they will thank you in the end. Scroll through to read the rest of W's letter from camp — it only gets better!
