Cafe Panette, a restaurant in Melbourne, Australia, just lost points with patrons who are parents. A couple who arrived with their 3-month-old baby in a stroller last weekend was turned away on the grounds that their stroller took up too much space.
The restaurant allows strollers on weekdays, but claims there's not enough space for them on weekends, and that they create clutter hazards for the staff. George Hitchens, the father who was turned away, claims there was plenty of room in the back of the cafe for his family's stroller.
