Cashmere for Kids

Bambeeno Cashmere Blends Keep Kids Well Dressed

Cashmere may be soft and cuddly, but it isn't practical for babies. What mama wants to stress about her lil one spitting up or dripping ice cream on their Sunday best.

Rather than put a total kibosh on the super-rich wool, designers are incorporating cashmere into more kid-friendly weaves. Bambeeno Cashmere, which made a name for itself with its adorable eco-friendly designs, is now incorporating the lux yarn into cotton pieces. The 90 percent cotton and 10 percent cashmere rompers, sweaters and blankets come in perfectly preppy designs with stripes, scalloped edges and sailboat motifs (starting at $64). The new blends will keep mom from chasing after her tykes with a wipe too, as the pieces are all machine washable.

Good to know...There's always onesies featured in here that are a 'reasonable' price...20 bucks for a onesie is not reasonable to me! Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so!

lol, no way. There are PLENTY of adorable baby outfits - full outfits - for under 5 dollars. I don't think i've spent over 10 dollars on a single piece, and I don't think its cheap... it's reasonable. Sure, If i had thousands and thousands of dollars at my disposal, I'd most likely splurge a bit, but barring a completely indisposable income, these kinds of things are pretty ridiculous. They just don't wear them long enough.

No, Starbucks, you're not cheap. You're smart. I read this and thought: $64 and people won't stress about their kid spilling something on it? Wow. Alternative universe!

Do you guys on here actually spend that much on baby clothes? My baby girl wears h&m stuff where a shirt is like 5 bucks! I think even 20$ is a lot for a shirt when it will only be worn for a short time...Am I just cheap?
