5 Celebrity Moms We'd Love to Have in Our Mom Circle

Is there a mom in your life who you just can't help but idolize a teeny, tiny bit? Whether it's that she always looks impeccable (with a toddler on her hip and a baby in the stroller), maintains an unflappable attitude even in the worst of circumstances (diaper blowout, anyone?), or juggles her career, relationship, household, and kids with the greatest of ease, we've all had a "mom crush" at least once or twice. In honor of those awesomely inspirational women, we've rounded up five celeb moms who we'd love to hit the playground with — each bringing her own unique strengths and talents. Did your favorite famous parent make our list?

  1. Because She's So Laid-Back: Jennifer Garner
  2. Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel's mom is as hands-on as it gets. She's seen all over town taking her kids to the playground, farmers market, and more. There's something that's refreshingly approachable and down-to-earth about the Garner-Affleck clan, making them one we'd love to hang with.

  3. Because She Inspires Us: Christy Turlington Burns
  4. She may be best known for her famous face — it's graced countless magazine covers — but these days Christy Turlington Burns is dedicating as much time to the important cause of maternal health as she is to modeling. Mom to 10-year-old Grace and 7-year-old Finn, Turlington shares the adventures of her family's travels on her Instagram account and is constantly on the go spreading the word about her foundation, Every Mother Counts. All it takes is hearing Christy's own story to be inspired.

  1. Because She'd Keep Us Laughing: Busy Philipps
  2. Busy's not one to hold anything back! The Cougar Town star and mom to 5-year-old Birdie and new baby Cricket is one of social media's most entertaining mamas. The caption for this photo: "In honor of Summer being over, here's one of my favorite pics from our vacay. Hers is just a smoothie, obvi. Mine, a little stronger." We could hang with her, for sure.

  3. Because She Sets an Example For a Nation: Michelle Obama
  4. She recently told Parade that she'll "Give [her daughters] as long a leash as they can handle." She's taken a hands-on approach to the fight against childhood obesity, standing up for military spouses, and other critical causes. And here she is taking selfies with the family dog. Need we go on?

  5. Because She Juggles It All: Jessica Alba
  6. Balancing the roles of Hollywood star, fashion world darling, and eco-passionate, entrepreneurial mom seems to come naturally to Jessica Alba. As the mother of 5-year-old Honor and 2-year-old Haven, Jessica founded the Honest Company when she wasn't satisfied with the range of safe, Earth-friendly household and baby products on the market. All it takes is a glance through her Instagram account to see that Jessica seems to have nailed the whole fun mom, great girlfriend, loving wife, balanced wife thing!

Not Jessica Alba, though. Her Honest Company is trying to drive a non-competing mom blogger out of business by opposing her trademark application for the name "Honest Toddler," which she has been using since before the The Honest Company went into business (which, short version, means she has priority). Honest Company isn't going after Honest Kids or Honest Tea, because they're owned by Coca-Cola and have deep pockets to fight a legal challenge. The Honest Company actually featured Honest Toddler (the blogger's toddler persona) on its website a couple of years ago, so it was aware of her (pre-existing) use of the mark and only went after her when she started making money from it (in the form of a book deal - She's not a good example of how to treat fellow mom business owners, so I don't see her as one of my potential besties.
