Rain Price will never forget the embarrassment of peering out of the bus on his first day of his sophomore year of high school to see his dad wave him off. And so it has continued, every day for the rest of the school year, with the embarrassment quotient rising as well. Since that first day, Dale (Rain's father) has waved Rain and his schoolmates off to school in 180 wild costumes.
Some of his more memorable costumes have been the giant chicken, the superhero, Michael Jackson, and his final costume, a pirate. Somewhere along the way, it became fun for Rain as well as for his dad.
"The first day of high school...it was really embarrassing," Rain tells the Herald. "But the last couple of months it has turned into more entertainment."
