Dad Skateboards With Baby

Dad and Baby on Skateboard: Stop or Let Them Ride?

There's a baby on the board...literally! Lots of parents ride bikes with their babes on the back, but I had to do a triple take when I saw a dad skating down the hill with his daughter strapped to him in a Baby Bjorn. While he was no Tony Hawk, the father clearly knew how to navigate the sidewalk on wheels with or without his wee one. But, how safe is it for an unprotected tot (tethered to a parent) to barrel down the streets of San Francisco or those of another city?

thats awful in my opinion! we all miss things about our former lives before children but thats way too extreme and dangerous. the baby has no choice. I have to admit I also am not into parents biking with equipment to bring their tots on/behind their bikes either. just adapt to your new life instead of insisting on your old hobbies. your kid(s) will be older soon enough. Oh! i see comment #1 and am glad to see I'm not the only one who feels this way :) (about the bikes) safety first parents!

Scary! I would feel really uncomfortable with this.

Having fallen off a skateboard many times, I would never rid one with my kid attached to me. Just like the story you posted earlier about the dad skiing with his kid. Both are too dangerous IMO. Even biking with a kid is a little iffy for me.
