Daughter Agrees to Delete Facebook Account for Cash

Do you wish you could get your child off Facebook? A dad in Boston has signed a contract to pay his 14-year-old daughter $200 to stay off of the social network. The big surprise is that the contract was the teen's idea.

Several commenters on the dad's blog, where he posted about the agreement, note that the teen could easily use an alternate email address to get back on Facebook. Others commend the dad's proactive parenting. What do you think? Would you pay your kids for their passwords?

I wouldn't pay my kids for their passwords - telling me their PW is the trade for them having the phone and access to the computer. I read this story on the dad's blog and didn't really get the "this is a great idea, more parents should try it" folks.
