That is so funny! I have boy/girl twins and I think I have had all of those comments said to me many times. Wish I had thought of the tampon response. The funniest time is when I am asked if they are identical... I always pause to see if they'll click and then I say "no, because one is a boy and one is a girl". pause again... I have had someone see my two boys and a girl and tell me I can stop now because I have my girl and when pregnant with my fourth had someone ask me if I 'knew what caused it yet'! BTW, three of my kids ARE that IVF thing and one isn't.

I am like you Lisa I did IVF and had one child, she is almost 3, and I have told my pregnancy was not natural and I also have 3 children 25 22, 22 (one is a foster son I had since he was 13) I also get how old are you???? and all kinds of strange questions. When I tell my age I get whoa you stated early, also you were all done why did you want another one!

So funny! I'm not a mom of multiples, but I remember about two years after having my son, people would ask when I was going to try again. Then a two years after my second (a daughter) was born, and I announced we were preggo again some people actually skipped the congratulations and asked me why I chose to have another! I guess they assumed since I had one of each that was that!

While I did think this was really funny I have to say I have never had a conversation like this one. I am an older mom to six year old identical twins. Very fun to watch.
