Doctor Discovers Object in Child's Nose After 3 Years

Curious kids are notorious for sticking things up their noses, but thankfully, we parents usually find and remove the objects pretty quickly, even if it takes a trip to the ER. Unfortunately, six-year-old Isaak Lasson's parents and doctors only recently discovered why this little guy had been having sinus problems for three years.

When my daughter was 2 I noticed her breath smelled really bad and no matter how much I brushed her mouth the smell didn't go away. I ended up taking her to a prompt care where they realized she had put some blanket fuzz and small rubber bands up there. It took 5 people to hold her down to get it out, what a mess! She learned her lesson lol... and so did I, I checked her nose everyday for a year! get it outget it

My son is 8 and has autism, he's non verbal and I noticed 6 days ago he had bad breath. Yesterday I brought him to the ER for a funny sound when he breathes in, they told me he probably has something up his nose and now I have to wait until monday to make an appt with ENT specialist as they won't touch him due to his reaction to people touching him. Ugh why are they so skittish around him? Should I take him to a different hospital or is it not that serious? I don't know what he possibly could have put up there, could be anything.

My now grown son was about 2 when he started to have a foul odor from his facial area. Of course, I looked and couldn't see anything, so I took him to the doc. He had put a piece of cotton swab up his nose, who knows how long before because the doctor had a hard time getting it out. Kids do weird stuff, that's for sure. Too bad it took 3 years for this child.
