The first that SURPRISED me was first steps - I cried like a baby! The other things I did cry for too, but I figured I would. For first steps, I just thought I'd be excited! I was, but it was so bittersweet - my baby was now a toddler.

Meeting their idols! Disneyland had me in TEARS! it was magical and wonderful. Plus it hit me even more cus I never got my chance to be there as a child. It was the best, most emotionally unexpected thing ever.

lol, We are working on potty training with my daughter right now, and a few days ago she went potty absolutely on her own, without any of us in the room encouraging her or helping her. It's a really huge step for her, she would go on the potty but it was still reluctant and we aren't pressuring her, so I was really excited and proud and I definitely teared up.
