Struggling to afford medical care for your sick child is one of the most heart-wrenching parenting situations imaginable. So when we heard about this little boy's story, we wanted to spread the word.
As the Daily Activist reports, three-year-old Liam Myrick was diagnosed with stage four Neuroblastoma, which is a malignant tumor. His sister, 6-year-old Natalie, also suffered from the cancer, and is now in remission.
The Myricks have so far accumulated over a half million dollars in medical bills. To help pay for it all, they have begun selling Liam's paintings (which he creates as therapy) and “Team Liam Miracle Boy 4 A Cure” bracelets on the Official Team Liam Facebook page.
