Lizzylu, we used US Angels for our Flower girl dresses and they were stunning. We bought them at a bridal salon but you can find them at Nordstrom. My sister in law however used a Macy's brand (not sure of the name) and the dress literally fell apart at the wedding. We were in the bathroom for hours with safety pins trying to keep the top attached to the bottom without holes that you could see undies.

What is the purpose of a flower girl? Anyone know the origins of this ritual?

Those are cute but I would never pay that much for a little girls dress. I got my flower girl dresses on eBay and they were gorgeous and brand name dresses for $45. My nieces and their mom loved them so much.

Oops. I stuck this at the end of the slideshow instead of below... US Angels has adorable dresses and they carry the line all over: www.usangels.com

I just want to put a word of caution out there! I ordered my flower girl dresses online and they were beautiful...but I didn't realise that they had raw hems and the lace-like collar. My little flower girl was so itchy the whole time she had a tantrum! I felt so bad, I had no idea that those things could be itchy. So if you have a delicate skinned little one, check for itch factors
