Grandfather Frantically Searched For Girl Sleeping in Suitcase

Panic sets in the second a parent can't find their child, but for one British family that feeling led to an all out search involving the police and a helicopter.

Six-year-old Jamie-Lee Morgan decided to play hide-and-seek while her grandfather was babysitting. The lil girl zipped herself into a suitcase before falling asleep for four hours. To see what happened,

An article on This Is London said:

Charlotte, 24, then alerted the police, who sent officers to search through hedges in nearby fields, trawled through alleys and quizzed neighbours. Officers from across the district were brought in to help find her. There was even a chopper hovering overhead but there was not a trace.

My son loves to hide. He has no qualms with the dark so he has done this to us a few times. It really freaks me out.

I apparently did something similar when I was really young. My mum went to work and I stayed home with my dad & his friend who were watching TV.I was playing under the sofa and fell asleep and they were looking for me and calling my name but I didn't hear a thing. He called my mum and eventually they found me. Must have been so scary for them!

Wow, that must have been terrifying! Glad it worked out better than the three little boys who shut themselves in a trunk in the front yard and died while police and family were searching high and low for them. :(
