Gross Things Moms Have to Clean Up

Tell Mommy: What Makes You Sick to Your Tummy?

Moms have a high tolerance for the gross and vile bodily functions of wee ones, but somehow we learn to deal better than most. Our male counterparts often gag at their first diaper change before they too adapt to dirty nappy duty. Mamas are known to scrape vomit off the car seat without batting an eye and wipe walls clean of uncontrollable diarrhea. Blood can make a mother queasy, as it is a sign of a physical injury while others can't stomach boogers or snot. What sends you over the edge?

I can handle poopy diapers, I can tolerate throw up but blood makes me a little queasy, but if I ever see a broken bone I will definitely hit the floor! Injuries are hard for me to bare!

lol, I grew up the oldest in a 4 kid + friends and babysitting charges, 5-6 dog, and god knows what other type of animal home, i am used to ANYTHING! My daughter had projectile vomiting, that was real vomit smelling, not just spit up, and it would end up EVERYWHERE.. the only issuse was ever having clean clothes... theres just no way to contain it when its like that. Youd have to wear a bio hazard suit. My 18 month old eats bugs, she's perfectly healthy, has vitamins and the doctor says not to worry, some kids just do it. God only knows where she finds them, but she ate a large winged thing at my mother's house while happily playing with her blocks right there in front of us, and there was a good inch long smear of orange cream filling on her shirt, and she ran over to us drooling with a leg stuck to her cheek. I gagged hardcore. It was disgusting.

Puke. Baby spit up was ok, it was just milk. But I dread the day that real puke comes along. Bleah.

The smell of yogurt throw-up! I can handle pretty much anything my kid has handed me so far, but that smell is just awful. And for some reason, wet crumbs mushed into the cracks of the highchair or stroller make me really sick to my stomach.

I don't have kids yet and most bodily fuctions I can handle just fine (had two dogs, worked at an animal clinic) but one thing I CANNOT deal with is when a little kid wiggles a loose tooth in front of me. Something about it makes me want to run and hide.

My babe's not here yet but after cleaning my dog's diarreah off the floor I don't fear anything!
