Since HATCH Collection made its debut on the maternity market in 2011, we've been big fans. The line takes an entirely new approach to pregnancy attire, replacing empire waists and ruching with sleek, fluid pieces that graze the body, instead of clinging to it.
HATCH's Spring/Summer collection is inspired by 1970s Portofino, and is centered on muted pastels, colorblocking, and a definite resort feel. "HATCH Collection is all about the details," says founder Ariane Goldman. "This season we have introduced smocking on the bands of shorts and pants, and rolled up the sleeves on some of our dresses. We see these subtle details as the signature of the brand." HATCH uses fabrics like silk, double cloth, French terry, and chambray — all sourced from Japan, for a super-luxe look and feel.
Here, some of our favorite picks from the Spring/Summer collection. Which piece (or pieces) are you coveting?
