Jimmy Kimmel ruffled some feathers in the antivaccination community, but he isn't letting it slow him down. The dad of an 8-month-old girl and host of Jimmy Kimmel Live! used his monologue last week to chastise parents who refuse to vaccinate their kids, joking that parents in LA "are more scared of gluten than of smallpox."

Needless to say, his stance wasn't greeted with resounding applause from antivaxxers, who took to Twitter to express their dismay. So, taking a cue from his popular "Celebrities Read Mean Tweets" segment, Jimmy read some of the angry tweets directed at him, including one that called him "worse than priests abusing boys and Bill Cosby drugging girls." As for those asking him to present both sides of the debate, Jimmy announced that he won't do that "for the same reason I wouldn't present both sides if a group of people decided that pancakes make you gay. They don't. And there's no point in discussing it."

Watch Jimmy's entire rebuttal in the video above, as well as the fun skit where he sends "community activists" to convince parents to let their children decide about getting vaccinated.
