Mostly helpful article but please be aware that applying a THICK layer of zinc oxide cream to nappy rash will make the situation worse - it will rub off onto the nappy and reduce its ability to absorb the urine, leaving the skin more vulnerable to maceration from wetness. Only ever apply a THIN layer of zinc oxide to nappy rash to protect the skin but not coat it in a thick, pre clogging and damp encouraging layer.
