Kim Kardashian Talks About Motherhood

Kim Kardashian Says North West Has Taught Her "That Family Is Everything"

One year into motherhood, Kim Kardashian is opening up about how she's changed since welcoming North West into her life and her happiest moments with her baby girl. Who better for Kim to share the details of her life with than Julia Restoin Roitfeld, daughter of former French Vogue Editor in Chief Carine Roitfeld and the founder of Romy & the Bunnies, a site where Restoin Roitfeld interviews fellow fashionable moms about family, beauty, and style.

During the short interview — which appears to have been done via email — Kim shared some tips for traveling with baby, finding balance, and more.

On the most rewarding part of motherhood: "I really love every phase! Just the way my daughter laughs with me, all of the small things in life you appreciate!"

On the biggest challenge so far: "I took a hiatus after I had the baby, and found it challenging to start working again because I didn't want to spend any time away, but you adjust and prioritize, and just figure it out!"

On juggling work and family: "The key is to prioritize. You become more selective and work on projects that are so meaningful because you want every other waking moment spent with your family. You have to remember though to make time for yourself. If you feel good, you will be happy in your career and family life and everyone is happy!"

On turning North into a jet-setter: "I think it's important to travel with the necessities to make sure your baby gets a nap on the flight, and whenever necessary!"
