I had a bad experiance too jennibean5 with a epidural they tried 4 times it was worse than giving birth and 4 times i said no !

It's something I'd be open to now. I'd want to be hypnotized before going into labor, because I'd want to make sure I was easily susceptible to hypnosis (since contractions feel like someone has tied my abdominal muscles around my guts and was tightening the knot every few minutes, and the pain was so intense that I would forget to breathe). It's not something I'd swear by or suggest to others, since I haven't exactly tried it, but I'd be open to it.

Honestly sounds like complete crap to me but I'd probably try it because I'd really like to avoid the epidural this time ( I had a very bad experience last time with it).
