Lil Find: Bottle Pets

Kids are lackadaisical when it comes to holding their bottles. Regardless of how parents try to prop them up or tuck 'em under, some babies will only drink when mom or pops is feeding them. Perhaps holding on to an adorable stuffed animal would make the beverage more appealing. These Bottle Pets ($18) hold the containers and make great cuddle toys for your child to cling to when toting it around. And, the plush wrappers are machine washable so your lil one’s dribble and spit-up can be rinsed in the wash.

Robin, I thought that as well. I assume lilsugar knows since the post is worded for children who are able to hold their own bottle, but I hope the company marketing these clearly states that it's not for bottle-propping.

I don't really want my child to hold her own bottle either. These are pretty cute, though.

I hope that people realize that these are for older babies and educate themselves about the dangers of propping a bottle for a very young infant

I feel like something as cute as this would only make it harder to ween a child off of a bottle. BUT I could be wrong.

I don't want my kids holding their bottles anyway. I feel that feeding time is "holding" time for my kids, and I'm glad daycare always felt the same way. And we never did juice or anything in a bottle for them to tote around, just breastmilk for actual feeding.
