Thanks, LILRuck. I'm sure it will be fine in the long run. It's just a challenge for sure. I actually have been meaning to check out that book. I've read the Happiest Baby book and some of those things are a bit helpful.

Hang in there schnappycat! I promise it gets better, and in five years you'll look back and this will all be a faint memory. In the meantime, go buy The Baby Whisperer by Tracy Hogg, it's worth a try.

My newborn is colicky and that article, while interesting, just scared the crap out of me. So far I am managing, but 3 or 4 or more months of this might really send me into depression. We have no family nearby and therefore, no real help. I love my son, but it certainly does sour the new mother/baby experience a bit. :(
