that little baby cracks me up!

Forget mama or papa, my first word was cookie! Heartbreaking to my parents, I'm sure. Although my mom said I pronounced it more like cook-oo, she said she was trying to feed me baby food, and I looked straight at the storage cabinet for the baby "cookies" (more like sweet crackers). She sometimes gave me one as a treat after I did a good job eating my food, and not scrunching my face and mouth up which was my norm!
