Alissa Sizemore was outside playing with her sister and some friends last May when she ran into the street and was hit by a UPS truck. Her right leg was pinned under the truck as the driver came to a stop, and though she was rushed to the hospital, part of her leg was unable to be saved.

A dancer since she was 4, Alissa was determined to dance again, so only a few months after her accident she ditched her crutches at her dance studio and hopped to the middle of the dance floor to perform. In September 2014, her friends, family, and neighbors raised money to get her a prosthetic leg, and in February 2015 she performed for the first time since her accident.

"I just didn't want to give up. Dancing has been my favorite thing since I was 4. I don't have part of my leg, but I can't let that stop me. I still want to dance," she told People. Watch this truly inspiring little girl perform a routine to Colbie Caillat's "Try" and prove that nothing can hold you back from doing what you love.

Can't stop, won't stop.
