If you're design-minded, you probably already know and love Lulu DK, the textile line from designer Lulu de Kwiatkowski. The designer — she counts Courteney Cox and Diane von Furstenberg among her fans — is known for her use of bold colors and hand-printed geometric designs, so it's not surprising that her most recent line is aimed at a clientele known for loving both: kids.
The Lulu DK Child For Schmacher collection will make you want to redesign the nursery now! It features 12 cotton fabrics — eight prints and six embroideries — in a range of pastels and bright tones. Jungle animals, butterflies, stars, and more would work for little boys and girls but are sophisticated enough to take your kids through high school and beyond. The fabric doesn't come cheap (we found it for between $50 and $115 per yard), but it would only take a few yards to make some seriously kid-chic pillows. Keep clicking to find your favorite pattern!
