This week Riley has become a fan of Madeline. It was one of my favorite books growing up, and it's become a hit in our house as well. Riley keeps his eyes opened till the last page, and when mommy says, "that's all there is, there isn't anymore", he's asleep. I love this book and tend to read it in a french accent since that seems to be the way it was written. The words end up rhyming if you say them in a french accent, otherwise the book seems a little lost. But it's a cute story. I cannot wait for the day to read Harry Potter to my son. I think when he's in kindergarten we will start Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.
