Baby Bump: Maternity Jeans

One of the last things a pregnant woman wants to give up are her designer jeans since they go with everything. Dressed up or worn with sneakers, a good pair of dungarees can take you from morning to night with a quick change of shoes and tossing on an accessory.

To see the truckload of maternity jeans,

.

Since maternity garb is only intended for a few months wear, many moms-to-be have a hard time justifying the high price of designer jeans. I say, indulge! Having experienced pregnancy, I can assure you that you will LIVE in your most flattering and comfortable jeans so on a price by wearing basis, you will definitely get your money's worth.

Nearly every designer has jumped on the baby bump bandwagon. Rock & Republic, Hudson, True Religion, Seven, Joe's Jeans, William Rast and Paige are just a few of the many lines on board.

Had several pairs of fab designer denim (Seven, True Religion, Citizens of Humanity) and lived in them up until a couple of weeks ago. Alas being about a week away from delivery the only comfy thing right now are my yoga pants!! I only bought one pair and friends lent the others... now I have another pair to add into the "chain of giving" for the next pregnant friend who wants to look and feel cute!! I agree--- worth the splurge

My Citizens of Humanity fit me until the last week of my pregnancy when all of the sudden they started to dig into me. Putting them on honestly made me feel good when I had those days that I felt like I just looked fat. I truly lived in them!

I got a couple of Gap pairs, some from Motherhood. I like the Gap the best. Right now Old Navy has squat for nice jeans.

I have to say Gap Maternity is great!! Before my last miscarriage I bought a pair of their no belly hidden panel jeans and LOVED them. I still wear them sometimes on those "fat feeling" days. Brands like Rock & Republic or William Rast, etc...are waaaayyy too expensive for me to spend to wear a few months. Besides...none of the designer brands fit above a size 10-12 and I am a 14. Not plus sized enough to actually wear plus sizes(I swim in them), but not small enough for "designer styles" either. Gap and Old Navy are great. And easier on the wallet for clothing only worn for a few months.

I had a pair of GAP maternity jeans that I L-O-V-E-D. They actually make my butt look better than my non-maternity jeans do now. Those jeans are one of the reasons I can't wait to get pregnant again ;).

I got great maternity jeans from Old Navy. I just ordered them online since getting around when i was pregnant with twins wasnt always fun. Old Navy has a great and inexpensive line of maternity clothes and jeans. I got tons of compliments on my jeans when i was pregnant. :D
