We're not quite sure why parents would want to name their new baby "Violence", "Metallica" or the more minimalist name "D."
But New Zealand is outright rejecting such weird baby names for its citizens. Apparently in 2008, the names Benson and Hedges were allowed for a pair of Kiwi twins, and that prompted international attention and local debate. Today the names registrar is rejecting what it considers oddities - a practice also taking place in Sweden and the Dominican Republic.
What is the strangest baby name you've heard?
