Did That Minions Happy Meal Toy Really Just Say What We Think It Just Said?!

It's no secret that kids are obsessed with the Despicable Me Minions, and it's definitely public knowledge that, for a kid, the best part of a McDonald's Happy Meal isn't the sleeve of fries, but the toy that comes with it. These two worlds have collided in the form of Minions Happy Meal toys, and the result is a bit, well, peculiar — it seems that the talking Minions toys are pretty well-versed in expletives.

Parents and grandparents who have discovered that the little yellow toys have some choice phrases in their arsenal — one of which sounds very similar to, "What the f*ck?" — are outraged, saying that it's a child's toy, and if their children hear the toy saying it, it must be alright for them to also.

One news station reached out to McDonald's for its comment:

Minions speak 'Minionese' which is a random combination of many languages and nonsense words and sounds. 'Minionese' has no translation to, or meaning in any recognized language. Any perceived similarities to words used within the English language is purely coincidental.

Watch the video and listen for yourself — but whether it's "Minionese" or English, it sure does sound a little suspect.
