It Only Takes a Minute For Kids to Tell Parents That They're Doing a Good Job

As a parent, it's easy to doubt yourself and your parenting skills for a number of reasons, to feel like you're not doing a good job or doing enough for your kids — but maybe you should try asking those kids what they think. Minute Maid's newest campaign, #doingood, is taking a stand for parents, seeking to push away their doubts about parenting and remind them that they're doing a good job.

Minute Maid asked a bunch of parents, "How do you think you're doing?" and received responses full of doubt and questioning. They decided then to ask the experts — their children — for their opinions. The children wrote letters to their parents, and the words they wrote are the things that every parent needs to hear, like, "I often forget to tell you how much you mean to me," and, "I admire your strength and courage. I love you so much."

The tears begin to flow from the moms and dads, who all seem visibly touched and relieved after reading the words from their children. One mom said, "[This letter] makes me feel like I've done a really good job, so maybe I think I'm only doing a seven, but if I've got a kid to write a letter like this, it's gotta be closer to a 10."

So remember: to them, you're #doingood.
