Mom's Kids Have 2 Different Dads — and She Has "Not a Damn Thing to Be Ashamed Of"
When Whitney Renee Huntwork tells people that her boys have two different dads, she usually doesn't get a positive response.
In fact, the mother of two took to Facebook because she wants to put an end to the "looks of horror or disgust, or snickers, or an attitude as if it's a bad thing." In an honest post along with a sweet snapshot of her boys, Whitney eloquently explained the reason her boys don't have the same dad:
My kids have different fathers because I loved two different men in two different ways at two different times. My kids have different dads because I was strong enough to walk away from a relationship that was not working. My kids have different dads because I CHOOSE to have them, to create them, to carry and birth them, and raise them into amazing human beings.
Whenever Whitney receives praise for being a great mom, she is always thankful for the two important men who made it possible. "Without those two men, one who I may want to run over with my car at times and one who I may make sleep on the couch at time, I wouldn't have these two amazing children," she wrote. "So having two fathers of my two children radiates strength, perseverance, and hope. Not a damn thing to be ashamed of."
