Mommy's Lil Helper: Milk Bands

Mommy's Lil Helper: Milk Bands

As a sleep deprived new mom, who has time to track breastfeeding in a journal? Utah mother, Jenny Pierce came up with an easy solution to the problem with the invention of Milk Bands.

Sold individually for $6 and marked "right" and "left" and embossed with a time indicator, the bands keep track of which breast was last used to nurse and at what time or how long the babe ate. Each bracelet is good for a few months wear so simply wash it with soap and water and occasionally sterilize.

I like the safety pin idea. The last thing I want is to encourage strangers to talk to me about breast feeding and their thoughts, feeling, and opinions...

I just kept a safety pin on my bra and put it on whichever side I used first, so I knew to use the other side next time. I never tracked time or anything either, just nursed when they wanted to be nursed and did it until they were full.
