Sing It Mama! A Compilation of Overused Parenting Phrases

Every mom has a list of phrases that she swore she would never say to her kids after hearing them throughout her own childhood. "Don't roll those eyes at me" and "I can't wait until you have children of your own" being two of my favorites. But there comes a time when a mama is at her wits' end and finds herself spouting those words. Anita Renfroe hilariously put the phrases to music with her "William Tell Overture" version of mom's favorite lines. Which of your mother's sayings do you find yourself blurting out now?

Anonymous #2, ME TOO! I gave that look to my daughter when my mom was around. Mom said, "Jen, you look like your grandma." I inherited the one raised brow scary eyes! I do have a repertoire of my own phrases. My three-year-old is starting to use them against me. I said a bad word (there was a *spider!* I couldn't help it!) and my daughter told me to use nice words. Then she asked me, "How can we keep this from happening again?" She's also used "I will not change my mind and I'm sorry if that makes you mad."
