An Indian woman with two wombs stunned experts by giving birth to two healthy sons, one from each of her uteri. The mother, Rinku Devi, 28, has a rare medical condition known as uterus didelphys (double uterus). She conceived her sons a month apart during successive menstrual cycles -- an event that experts say had a one-in-50-million chance of happening.
Pregnancies involving a double uterus are often fatal for the mother and the baby. In Devi's case though, the babies were delivered surgically in a one hour procedure, and like their mom, are both healthy.
