130+ New Baby and Kid Products You'll Wish You Could Get Your Hands On ASAP

May 23 2018 - 9:30am

It never fails that the minute you buy a stroller or a car seat, or even a bib, a newer, better model is being made. That's all we could think about when we attended the annual ABC Kids Expo — the largest juvenile-products trade show in North America — in Las Vegas. We scoured the aisles for new products, we-wish-we-thought-of-that inventions, and updates on old classics to get an exclusive first look at all the parenting gear coming to a store near you over the next year.

From a nursery room glider that charges your cell phone (and reclines!) to a pacifier that protects itself from germs to an Instagram-worthy baby blanket, the convention had something for every mom at every stage. And if you're trying to spy the biggest parenting trends, keep an eye out for black-and-white design and wearable technology — we're talking fitness-like tracker bands for you and your baby.

Read on to see which of the 130-plus products you'll be adding to your shopping list right now.

Sago Mini Tuck Me In Quilt

Perhaps the most adorable item we saw was Sago Mini's new Tuck Me In Quilt ($100). Created by the dad behind the Sago Mini apps for kids, the quilt is designed with pockets kids can use to tuck their stuffed animals into bed each night. In the coming year, the company hopes to introduce themed versions of the quilt, too.

Sakura Bloom Elements Collection

This just-launched limited-edition design by Sophie Machado was carefully hand dyed in LA in a palette inspired by her and her husband Rob’s world travels. A portion of the sales of the collection of double-layer linen ring slings ($180), which are exclusive to committed retailers, benefit the Rob Machado Foundation.

Project Nursery Parent + Baby SmartBand

If you can’t get enough of your fitness tracker, you’ll be just as obsessed with the first-ever wearable for soon-to-be parents, out in February. The band ($150) tracks your entire pregnancy — including fetal movements — and once baby arrives, you can record diaper changes, nap times, and feedings directly onto the device or its corresponding app. Plus, you won’t need an armful of wristbands; this one also logs steps, sleeps, and hydration.

Fisher-Price Elephant Baby Toy

With Jonathan Adler named the creative director of Fisher-Price, the new year’s lineup is chock full of references to his unique, playful, modern aesthetic. This elephant toy ($13), coming out in January, shows off his use of mixed materials, complete with knits, velvets, and chambrays.

Lulujo Baby’s First Year Blanket

We’ve got Instagram to thank for this one! The new generation of monthly photos isn’t complete with just a belly sticker adhered to a onesie. Now, Lulujo has created a photo-ready set ($20) — with a large muslin blanket and 14 coordinating cards — perfect for sharing your baby’s growth on social media.

Nomi Chair

One chair, three stages of incredible, lust-worthy design! Created by Norwegian designer Peter Opsvik for his granddaughter, the ergonomically superior chair ($299) can be used from infancy, and they are beyond comfortable for even adults! Not only is it beautiful, but it’s also seamless to adjust, and it even can rest on to a table for when you need to clean underneath it.

Fisher-Price Revolve Swing

Back-and-forth motion is fine and all, but the newest swing ($130) coming from Fisher-Price offers an updated, more natural circular motion that better mimics the movements of inside the womb. Added bonus: this has a 25-percent smaller footprint that traditional swings from the brand.

Twelvelittle Fanny Packs

Babywearers rejoice! The fashion-forward designers at Twelvelittle have devised the perfect solution for those moms who prefer to wear their babies and thus have a hard time schlepping a shoulder bag as well. These chic fanny packs wrap around the waist and provide just enough room for diapers, wipes, and your personal essentials.

Ubabub Mod Crib

Ubabub's Mod Crib features an intricate bent-metal base. The crib, which will be available in June 2017, converts into a toddler bed for longer use.

The Forever Extend2Fit will retail for $350 in Q1 2017.

Aden + Anais Disney Muslin Swaddles

Babyletto Kiwi Swivel Glider

A glider for the connected parent, Babyletto's Kiwi Swivel Glider ($599) not only reclines electronically, it has a built-in USB port for easy phone charging during long nursing sessions. The chair will be out in February 2017.

UppaBaby Vista

UppaBaby is introducing a $50 genuine leather kit for handle and bumper bars. The genuine leather pieces are REACH compliant and will patina over time for that worn-in look.

If Cake Maternity’s lingerie line felt a bit out of reach — an average bra runs upwards of $80 — the brand is debuting a diffusion line this January! More youthful (they are catering to fun, millennial moms), these nursing bras, complete with sheer overlays and a pop of leopard print, will only cost around $40. Others in the new line, which include molded cups and sleeper silhouettes, will start as low as $25!

Hatch Baby Listen Fetal Doppler

Cybex Marcel Wanders High Chair

Cybex is working with Dutch designer Marcel Wanders on a capsule collection of whimsical high chairs that will launch in January 2017.

Babyletto Dottie Bookshelf

This 3-level bookshelf can be customized, thanks to its array of interchangeable colored pegs. It’s an ideal way to personalize a nursery room for a second baby without having to rethink entire pieces of furniture!

Itzy Ritzy Nursing Scarf With Leather Cuff

Nursing scarves aren’t anything new, but this multipurpose leather cuff gives it a host of new benefits. Worn with the scarf or on one’s wrist, it can be strategically placed on either side to serve as a subtle breastfeeding reminder to note which side to nurse with next. The cuff can also be used to secure your shirt up and away from baby’s face during feeding sessions!

Baby Jogger City Select Lux

Baby Jogger's best selling City Select will receive an upgrade in Spring 2017. The Baby Jogger City Select Lux ($629) will convert from single to double with more than 20 seating options. The new jumpseat (which will sell for $89) can hold children up to 45 pounds. But the biggest selling points of the stroller are the 30 percent smaller fold and the shopping tote that fits either in front or in back of the seat.

JuJuBe TokiDoki Collection

If you haven’t seen any of these wild Japanese-inspired prints popping up on your baby gear — there are now collaborations with strollers, bottles, layette, and more — you certainly will. Case in point: JuJuBe has partnered with the line in a range of colorful bags.

UppaBaby will introduce an innovative new fabric in Winter 2017 — wool! The Mesa wool seat ($350) is naturally flame-retardant and will be the first infant seat completely free of chemical flame retardants.

Belly Bandit BFF Wrap

If you thought this Belly Bandit BFF (as in Body Formulated Fit) wrap was one simple piece of fabric, you’re underestimating its power. The corset-inspired design is actually made of six separate pieces, and by having two connector flaps in the front, the wearer gets maximum adjustability.

Hatch Baby Rest Night Light Sound Machine

This is one of the only sound machines (and one of the only night lights, for that matter!) that looks chic enough to go from nursery room to master bedroom. With cool-to-touch LED light, this simplistic dome design can be controlled by an app with thousands of customizable colors and graphic overlays.

Yookidoo Spin ’N’ Sort Spout Pro

Plus, all the toys clip on and are movable — another genius solution so many parents wish their current play table offered.

Cybex Marcel Wanders Pigs

These adorable plastic pigs — which serve as toy storage! — are part of Cybex's capsule collection with Dutch designer Marcel Wanders.

SiliKids Siliskin Plate and Bowl

With an embedded stainless steel ring, this bowl set — coming in Spring 2017 — won’t collapse when gripped. The plate also acts as a lid and inserts for a tight, two-in-one fit. Made of silicone, despite the metal ring, it’s fully microwaveable!

Love to Dream Winter Warm Sleep Sack

This is what any tot needs to stay warm during the coldest of months. With a thick, built-in bamboo quilt covering the bottom half of the sleep sack, baby’s feet keep heat in — and the standard top helps keep your little one from getting sweaty.

Boon Gleam

A combination nightlight and flashlight, the Boon Gleam projects colorful images on little ones' walls as they fall asleep. Once they awake and pick it up, the bottom becomes a flashlight for late-night trips down the hallway. It will be available beginning in April 2017.

Nursery Works's new Compass Rocker ($799) has an extremely smooth glide and ultra-soft covering that new parents will find comforting as they rock their babies to sleep. The rocker will hit stores in early March.

Claessens’ Kid Sleep My Dream Lovey

If your toddler is still too young for a “time to wake” clock, this cuddly rabbit is a perfect sleep trainer. Not only does it serve as a soft, in-bed night light, but you can time the sleeping face to glow a subtle blue when it’s time to be in bed and the open-eyed face a warm yellow when it’s OK to get up.

MommySteps Maternity Insoles

It's entirely possible that your feet can expand during pregnancy and never fully return to their original, pre-pregnancy size. If that's even remotely concerning, get your hands on these MommySteps shoe insoles, which are guaranteed to prevent foot growth by more than a half-size. Plus, a few minutes in the oven perfectly primes them to be molded to your feet so you can have all-day comfort for nine straight months.

Fisher-Price On-the-Go Dome

Naptime or playtime, this sweet baby dome ($70) can go anywhere. The SPF-20 canopy provides sun shade and has handy links to attach toys. And not only is it lightweight, but it folds flat and has easy-carry handles to help keep your family on the move.

Maxi Cosi Graphic Flower

In May 2017, Maxi Cosi will introduce the next iteration of the company's collaboration with designer Edward van Vliet. The Graphic Flower collection combines a Spirograph-like design with a flower pattern in neutral tones and will appear on the Mico Max 30 and the Adora stroller.

3 Sprouts Play Mat

3 Sprouts will introduce a lipped play mat — in an adorable hedgehog design — early next year.

Lorena Canals Washable Rugs

If you ever hesitated to buy a nice, decorative rug for fear your kids would inevitably destroy it, consider one from Lorena Canals. The only concern you’ll have at this point is if your washing machine can fit it!

Lassig Monster Travel Collection

The pains of traveling with toddlers just got a little cuter thanks to this new line of happy monster bags in kid sizes.

Tiny Love Kangy Kangaroo and Dino Dinosaur

Changing time will be a lot more fun with Tiny Love's Kangy Kangaroo or Dino Dinosaur attached to the table. The fun tows attach to virtually any changing table (or stroller or play yard) to entertain tots while parents take care of business.

Skip Hop Windowed Nursing Cover

If you prefer to cover up when nursing but don’t want to feel as though your baby is hidden away under a blanket, the new cover from Skip Hop provides a mesh window for ventilation and easy viewing during latching . . . and whenever else you want to sneak a peek!

Lulujo Muslin Swaddles

Black and white is one of the hottest design trends in general, and the nursery world is no exception this coming year. Lulujo is answering consumer demand with this line of black-and-white swaddles. Their best-seller? The simple x-o print.

Baby Dam

For every parent that's ever wondered why they had to fill an entire tub to wash their tiny tot, there will soon be the Baby Dam ($40). The flexible device fits almost every US bath (the device is being adjusted to fit US tubs which are wider and shorter than their British counterparts) and will make its stateside debut in the first half of 2017.

Itzy Ritzy Hush Happens Door Silencer

We’ve all been there: we finally get our baby to sleep, delicately place them in their crib, tiptoe out of the room, and then go to close the door. Click! With the turn of the knob, your baby is awake . . . and screaming. This simple-yet-ingenious door silencer helps keep the clicking at bay when you leave the room.

Babyhome Wheel Kits

If you love your Babyhome stroller but wish it handled the elements a bit better, all you need to purchase is the brand’s new wheel kit . . . not a whole other stroller. With wheels made for running and another set for all-terrain trail-riding, you’ll be set for whatever path you take.

Keen Kids Sandals

All Keen shoes for toddlers are now daycare-approved! What does that mean? Many preschools and toddler programs require kids to wear close-toed shoes for safety, even during hot Summer months. But with a skid-proof, reinforced toe bumper — along with the standard wide velcro-strap opening and corded, lace-free technology — they now are all ready to wear!

InnoBaby 2-in-1 Cleaning Brush

Cleaning baby's bottles is never fun, but the new InnoBaby 2-in-1 Cleaning Brush will certainly make it easier. The brush is designed to get into every nook and cranny of your bottles (or your vases!) to ensure they're clean. And because it's silicone, it's made to last.

Dock-a-Tot Cloud Tot

One of the most buzzed about items of the show was the upcoming Dock-A-Tot Cloud Tot. The "smart mattress" slips into the base of the Dock-a-Tot and provides parents with information about their sleeping babies via a Bluetooth-enabled app. If a baby hasn't moved in 12 seconds, the mattress gives the baby a jiggle to startle it. It also detects moisture when a baby is wet and plays white noise to help babies fall asleep — and stay asleep!

Stokke Trailz in Nordic Green

This Winter Stokke will introduce a new edition of its all-terrain Trailz stroller in Nordic Green. The stroller includes the ultra-warm storm cover, a changing bag, and a picnic blanket.

Ergobaby Sleeping Bag

Swaddles and sleep sacks are not created equal, but Ergobaby is determined that their latest unveiling stacks high above the rest. This sack, for newborns to 9-month-olds, is a customizable coverup that can be adjusted as babies grow thanks to a removable arm swaddle and adjustable shoulder straps.

Skip Hop Tuo Convertible High Chair

Talk about a good-looking high chair! The Tuo ($150), with its wood legs and leather finish, debuts in January and is one of the few chairs on the market that converts into a kids standard-height chair by simply unscrewing the top half of the legs.

InnoBaby Silicone Bath Scrubs

Imagine how relaxed baby would be with a massaging scrub using InnoBaby's Silicone Bath Scrubs ($10). The silicone scrubs are as soft as can be and can be used to remove cradle cap as well.

eCloth Reusable Baby Wipes

It’s annoying enough how many disposable baby wipes one can go through, but when you think about what’s in some of them, it can be worrisome. The geniuses at eCloth, known for making household cleanup a breeze, are taking over baby care, too, with this packable case of 10 reusable cloth wipes — that don’t just move particles around, but pick them up and take them away — and a travel-sized spray bottle for water.

Marcus & Marcus Bath Squirt Toys

New mold-free bath toys from Marcus & Marcus will make you shudder at the thought of the squirt toys currently in your child’s bath tub. Unlike standard ones, these brightly colored squirters have removable tops that allow for complete opening, cleaning, and drying.

Ergobaby Adapt Carrier

Up until now, nearly every baby carrier — save for wraps and slings — required an infant insert for a newborn’s first few weeks of life. With the recently launched Adapt style, however, there’s no need for anything extra. Plus, it still grows with your child, up to 45 pounds. Coming soon from the line: an adorable Sophie La Girafe collaboration that even includes a strap to hold a baby’s beloved Sophie teether doll.

Gathre Leather High Chair Mat

If you’re tired of getting on your hands and knees for post-meal cleanup below the high chair, but you also refuse to put some cartoon-themed vinyl mat in the middle of your nice dining room, the folks at Gathre have the perfect solution. This leather mat — which also comes in sizes for changing table covers and beach blankets — easily wipes off clean while looking ultra-luxe.

Maxi-Cosi Dana For 2

Double stroller parent will rejoice with the news that Maxi-Cosi will introduce its first double stroller in 2017! The Dana For 2 will be the only umbrella stroller on the market that accommodates two car seats. At only 31-inches wide, it's one of the narrowest, too!

ErgoPouch Sleep Suit Bag

These sleep suit bags have taken Australia by storm and they are finally coming stateside. By converting from a standard sleep bag into a sleep suit using only zippers, it offers parents ample versatility by making the transition from crib to car seat — and vice versa — a cinch.

Zoli Pow Dine

The ever-popular Zoli Pow Dine ($25) is getting a cosmetic makeover with a matte, powder-coated exterior. It will be available in five colors, in addition to the current glossy offerings.

GB Pockit+ Stroller

It’s hard to forget the most talked-about unveiling from last year’s ABC Kids Expo — the collapsable stroller that won a Guinness World Record for smallest fold. The original Pockit stroller is getting an upgrade, which will be available early 2017. Despite a slightly larger fold, the new Pockit+ ($280) has a more spacious seating area, an added recline feature, and purchasable adapters so it can carry any GB or Cybex car seat — which (drum roll, please) makes it the world’s lightest-weight travel system on the market.

Nuna Sena Air

We didn’t think it was possible, but Nuna’s Sena pack-and-play crib is now even more breathable. With a complete mesh frame and mattress, it’s just as comfortable as the original but now with maximum ventilation. Plus, it’s machine-washable! And stay tuned, because a Sena Air Mini will be on the market later in the year.

Micuna Nanny Glider & Nacelle

When you’re so tired you want to rock your baby to sleep without actually rocking your baby to sleep, this Micuna glider ($1200) might be a wise investment. The bassinet is magnetized to the chair through a unique docking system, which means you can buy an additional one for the other side if you have twins.

DaVinci Fairway Crib

The "scratched finish" trend continues into 2017, and can been seen on the upcoming DaVinci Fairway Crib ($229)

Buddy Bib

This new product is three baby must-haves all rolled into one — a cute bib, a pacifier holder, and a teething toy.

Skip Hop Foam Floor Tiles

When you want your kid’s playroom to have an on-trend look, pick up these black-and-white foam tiles that can be repositioned in a host of patterns, from a classic chevron to a checkerboard to a bold diagonal stripe.

Silver Cross Wave

Silver Cross prams have been a Royal Family staple [1] since the 1920s, but today's families just don't have the space to store the classic prams. That's why the company is preparing to introduce the Silver Cross Wave ($1,300) to the US market in January 2017. The Wave, which easily converts into a double-tandem stroller at no extra cost, comes with a bassinet and a reversible seat featuring marled jersey fabric and leatherette detailing. It truly is a beauty!

Chewbeads Pacifier Pouch and Wipes Clutch

Chewbeads will expand its signature silicone material to a line of pacifier pouches and wipe clutches that will be available in Spring 2017.

Nursery Works Margaux Dresser

Nursery Works is introducing one of the most luxe dressers we've ever seen — the marble-topped Margaux Changer Dresser which will retail for $4,500. It fits all standard changing pads, so it can easily convert into a changing table.

Moba Bassinet

A modern take on the Moses basket, Moba's bassinet ($180) has more than 300 holes in its sides for better ventilation. Each set comes with the basket, a mattress, and a liner.

Boon Care

Consider the upcoming Boon Care kit to be a pack of baby's first essentials. It includes six items — a nail clipper, a thermometer, a cradle cap brush, a medicine dispenser, a gum scrubber, and an aspirator.

Lamaze Repeat Petey

The adorable Lamaze Repeat Petey hangs from stollers and play yards and repeats whatever you tell him with the press of a button.

Ergobaby Diaper Bag Collection

Never before has Ergobaby produced diaper bags, but by the look of these, we’re glad the company is moving in that direction. At roughly $100 each, the different styles will be available in July.

Boon Spiff

Boon will be expanding it's popular Grass collection to include Spiff, baby's first grooming kit, in January 2017. The kit is compatible with other Grass accessories, like the Stem and Twig, to hold barrettes and rubber bands.

Graco SnugRide Snug Lock Elite

Graco is introducing a new Snug Lock infant car seat base that provides a quick and easy installation process. The system was designed to make transferring car seats between cars easier with either a seat belt or LATCH system. The system will be integrated into the SnugRide Snug Lock Elite ($219).

Million Dollar Baby Classic Darlington Crib

Million Dollar Baby Classic will launch the upholstered Darlington crib ($500) next year. The upholstered piece can be removed for easy cleaning — because we all know that babies don't keep things neat!

Boon Ledge

It looks like a cloud that sits on the side of the bathtub, but the Boon Ledge actually opens to provide a play space that prevents water from splashing outside of the tub as well as storage. It will be available in March 2017.

Quinny Zapp Flex

The Quinny Zapp Flex will replace the current Quinny Zapp stroller once it is introduced in March 2017. The new compact stroller has an easier fold, a larger under basket, and will accommodate a bassinet — the Quinny Lux Tuck — for the first time.

Cybex Platinum Baby Carrier

Cybex will introduce a new baby carrier in February 2017 that combines the hip structure of a baby carrier with the ease and softness of a wrap. It can be used in three positions — parent-facing, side-facing, and back carrier. The carrier can hold children up to 27 pounds and features a flower-like opening as children grow.

Dr. Brown’s Natural Bottle & Dish Soap

This new 100-percent plant-based liquid soap is tailor made for baby bottles. In fact, the non-toxic ingredients are expertly formulated to break down milk residues from both breastmilk and formula.

Cybex Sirona M Car Seat

Cybex will introduce the Sirona M Car Seat early next year. The seat, which is approved for tots 5 to 65 pounds, is both froward- and rear-facing, with 11 height settings and three levels of linear side impact protection. But parents will be most excited about the easy access seatbelt threading. The seat, which will be available in Q1 2017, will cost $350.

Skip Hop Moby Bath Toy Holder

Both you and your kids will have a whale of a time in the bath thanks to this mesh toy caddy. By simply unzipping the bottom, the toys fall straight into the tub, and once fastened, it can easily scoop them up without leaving sitting water.

Graco SlimFit 3-in-1

The Graco Milestone will evolve into the Slimfit 3-in-1 ($229) in 2017. The new seat is two inches slimmer than the previous version thanks to swivel cup holders.

Skiddies

After his grandson had trouble wiping himself after using the bathroom, and the boy's mom threw away a few too many pairs of underpants, a grandfather created Skiddies [2]! The 100-percent cotton patches with FDA-approved stickies on the back adhere directly to the back of kids' underpants, saving undies everywhere. The adhesive pieces ($10 for 30) are so soft, that kids will never even realize they're there!

Let’s be real: There’s nothing cuter than this miniature diaper bag ($40), is there? Modeled after the classic JuJuBe silhouette, it’s got a strap adjustable for kids or adults (ahem!) and even comes with a teeny-tiny changing pad!

Haba Wrist Rattles

Brand-new from the German toymaker’s beech wood line are these ingenious rattles that can be attached to baby’s wrist — or a stroller bar! — to keep their attention . . . and keep you from bending down to pick it up every time they drop it.

Starling by VersaMe Word Tracker

More than 80 percent of a child’s brain growth happens in the first three years — shouldn’t we make sure we’re setting them up for success? Enter: Starling by VersaMe, a word tracking wearable that you can clip right onto your baby’s onesie. It counts all words — regardless of language — said to your little one each day and provides goal-oriented suggestions to keep that number on the rise. Trust us that this simple device will make you eager to read “one more” book at bedtime . . . that’s another 200 words at least!

4Moms Moxi

The new 4Moms Moxi stroller ($700) is a fun and practical update on the original Origami. A generator powered by pushing the stroller powers the headlights and taillights, as well as the LCD screen mounted on the handlebar. That screen monitors your mileage, speed, and burned calories, and also houses a socket for USB cords. The stroller also features a reversible seat (which converts into a bassinet) and a larger under basket for storage.

Hatch Baby Grow 2.0

The original Grow smart changing pad was a bit pricey, so the creators made some clever tweaks to bring the price down ($129, originally $249) while offering the same functionality. Now, it’s got a minimal base, a wipeable, antimicrobial surface, and a scale sensitive to the nearest quarter-ounce.

Graco Quick Connect With Portable Napper

Portability is the name of the game with Graco's new Quick Connect With Portable Napper ($159). The removable napper means baby can be moved from room to room without ever waking.

JuJuBe Helix

Finally, a style Mom or Dad can carry without a second thought! This messenger bag is lightweight and tall, which gives parents the lower profile look they’ve often demanded in the diaper bag market.

Lassig Swimwear With Built-in Diaper

One of the most annoying purchases a mom can make is reusable swim diapers. You often never get through a package before your baby has grown out of the size, and you likely never actually have them with you when the moment for a swim arises. Lassig is finally bringing their concept of four-layer, patent-pending wicking swimwear to the US, and it’s in the form of suits with built-in swim “diapers” that hold liquids and solids and can be washed clean for seasons of use.

Covered Goods Multi-Use Nursing Cover

To call this piece of fabric a nursing cover is a gross understatement. The 4-in-1 product can also be used as a car seat cover, an infinity scarf, and a universal shopping cart cover – that’s right, it even fits over those extra-large Target carts that no other brand on the market does. What’s great, too, is that it’s far less bulky than other shopping cart covers so you can toss it in your purse when you’re done!

Project Nursery Dual Mode Touchscreen Baby Monitor System

Project Nursery made headlines with its revolutionary watch-style baby monitor system last year. This April, however, it will go back to basics with a key update to a more traditional video monitor system ($299). The touchscreen monitor will have safe and secure wifi and full control via a phone app that lets you record and play lullabies, nature sounds, and white noise.

The Brushies

Designed by a psychologist and a dentist, The Brushies are a line of silicone finger puppet toothbrushes for infants and toddlers. The line was developed after a dentist couldn't get her tots to brush their teeth. Each set of four ($27) will come with a book that features the characters on the brushes, as well as tips for parents.

Dr. Brown’s Wide Neck Bottles

The next phase in Dr. Brown’s bottles is the same great ventilated bottle construction but with a wide neck. What’s the point? It generally works the same, but because the nipple has a broader base, it’s more synonymous with breastfeeding, making it an ideal bottle when going back and forth or transitioning.

Doddle & Co's The Pop Pacifier

One of our most innovative finds at the show was Doodle & Co's The Pop Pacifier [3]. Launching in January, the $10 pacifiers form a protective bubble around the nipple of a pacifier to prevent parents from having to suck the dirt off of the bulbs themselves.

Project Nursery Ark Collection Sound Machines

Why not have a sound machine that’s cute to boot? The new Parrot and Giraffe sound machines ($30) come with six soothing sounds: three natural ones —like heartbeat, waves, and white noise — and three classic lullabies. If you prefer to also have a nightlight, Bear and Lion versions ($35) are the perfect solution.

Bebe Au Lait Car Seat Cover

Who knew there were so many bells and whistles to be had in a simple car seat cover? This new one, made of ultra-breathable material, attaches at the sides so parents can still grip the handle, and it has an elastic-lined bottom so it perfectly cups any size car seat. The zipper, which moves both directions, is perfect for subtle check-ins and to get baby in and out without dismantling the whole thing.

Babyletto Lolly Crib

Babyletto joins the monochromatic trend with it's black-and-white Lolly crib and matching changer.

Stasher Silicone Bags

Made of pure platinum silicone, this is no throwaway Zip-lock baggie. In fact, it’s the first self-sealing, air-tight, non-plastic bag ever invented that’s also safe in the freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. And why’s it so perfect for kiddos? You can throw veggies in it and toss the bag right into a pot of boiling water to cook and then mash it up for serving — all in one.

Lassig Neckline Bag

Calling this eco-minded tote — made from recycled water bottles — a diaper bag does a disservice to anyone who owns it. More a transitional bag, it has mix-and-match compartments that are all snapped in place, so both the insulated bottle holder and elastic bottle holder sleeve can be removed entirely when you’re done carting around baby bottles and onto the next phase of your kid’s life.

Aden + Anais Metallics Collection

Want to infuse a little sparkle in your baby’s layette collection? The brand’s new offering of baby clothes with silver, gold, and rose gold accents adds a perfect touch.

Belly Bandit Ultimate Labor & Delivery Kit

The last few weeks of pregnancy can be overwhelming, and if the last thing you have time to do is pack your hospital go-bag, let the pros at Belly Bandit do it for you with this carry-case of essentials that are just for the new mom.

Baby Change-N-Go

Any parent that's ever entered a public restroom only to realize there's no changing table there will appreciate the new Baby Change-N-Go ($99). Designed to hang from the back of a door, the Baby Change-N-Go holds diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes — in addition to a baby up to 105 pounds. Babies and toddlers are snugly safe and secure in the hanging changer, and parents don't have to worry about stretching out on a dirty floor.

Cybex Mios Stroller

Cybex's latest lightweight stroller is the "little brother" of the bestselling Priam pram. Based on the design of the Eames Rocker — where the center of gravity remains in place, the stroller features a mesh back for increased air flow and a full 145-degree recline. The $750 stroller weighs in at 19.8 pounds and will be available Spring 2017.

Babyletto Tally Bookcase

This two-level bookcase ($229) serves dual purposes: the bottom shelf is deep enough for bulky toys and dolls, and the top shelf is slimmed down to create the perfect spot to display your kids’ favorite book covers.

Haba Little Friends Pretend Play Sets

After the success of Haba’s line of “Little Friends” figurines, they are now set to launch expanded pretend-play features, including this two-level condo, complete with mod furniture, restickable artwork, and even succulents. The sets also include a horse stable and a yoga studio!

Itzy Ritzy Triple Threat Convertible Backpack Tote

This January, Itzy Ritzy is debuting a line of three diaper bag silhouettes, and the Triple Threat Convertible Backpack Tote ($170) is our favorite, especially if you are a parent of two kids. The interior is a mirror-image split, so you can keep items for each child separated and organized.

Wean Green Duo

Fans of Wean Green's durable glass food storage containers will be happy see that the line is expanding to include the Duo, a bento box-like version of the classic design.

Maxi-Cosi Nomad Collection

Maxi-Cosi will introduce the Nomad Collection in March 2017, a collection of stroller fashions that include vegan leather accents.

Fisher-Price Soothing Motion Bassinet

It’s one of the first “suspended” bassinets ($150), in that it hovers on its metal base via springs and responds to baby’s natural motion and can be easily swayed by a tired parent with just a bedside touch. It also comes with a detachable “soother” that plays calming music and can add a dose of vibration to the cradle.

Nursery Works Ami Rocker

Talk about a two in one! The Nursery Works Ami Rocker ($1,250) is a combination rocker and bassinet that be used to rock newborns to sleep, and then converted into a double rocker with the purchase of a seat once baby is grown.

Baby Jogger City Tour

Baby Jogger's City Tour ($199) just hit the market. It weighs just 14 pounds and folds compactly enough to fit into an airplane's overhead compartment.

Cybex Birds of Paradise Collection

This Spring, Cybex will introduce the Birds of Paradise Collection, complete with a colorful bird embroidered to the hood of a car seat and onto baby carriers.

Franklin & Ben Tanner Crib

Franklin & Ben will add the Tanner Crib ($499) — a crib with gold feet and beautifully rounded design — to it's collection in June 2017.

Tray Haven

Invented by the neighbor of a parent who was tired of her tot throwing his food on the floor, Tray Haven ($39) works much like a pop-up hamper. Its mesh sides and elastic back make it compatible with anything with a seatback and tray. It can be cleaned with a warm cloth or placed on the top rack of a dishwasher and will be available beginning December 2017.

Million Dollar Baby Classic Langford Crib

The Million Dollar Baby Classic Langford Crib ($549) will bring a hint of rustic sophistication, and storage, to the nursery.
