OnSugar Blog: For a Day the World Stands Still (OK For a Few Mins...)

Moms in our LilSugar Community celebrated their day with breakfast in bed, flowers and macaroni necklaces yesterday. Grafix shared her Mother's Day surprise on her OnSugar Blog Grafix on Sugar.

I woke up today to silence. Instead of the nagging of my 3 year old and the constant whimpering of my 1 year old and the unlimited Q&A from my husband....there was silence!

Why? It's Mother's Day! so in effort to keep me happy, my much loved husband has gone out of his way to make me breakfast in bed and keep the kids voices to a minimum....ahhhhhhh!! bliss!!!!

So while I type away in a quiet house (for once), munching on whole-grain pancakes and strawberries I am both relieved to have a moment to myself and terribly sad that I actually miss the madness of my life! As much as we all complain about getting a moment to ourselves (i know I do)....I have to admit that the moments spent with my family are the ones I love the most--even through the madness.
