Panda the Cat Protecting Baby Bump

Meet Panda, the Adorable Cat Who Protected Her Owner's Baby Bump For 9 Months

It's well-known that dogs are very protective of pregnant women and the babies that result, but apparently other fur babies — like cats — feel the same instincts. Liel Ainmar Assayag's adopted cat, Panda, has felt protective of her son, Sean, since before he was born — she snuggled up to Liel's baby bump for nine months — and now that Sean's here, Panda adorably continues to lay on him in protection.

See the sweet photos of Liel, Panda, and baby Sean — in and out of the womb! — above.
