Actually, my kids eat dishes like this all the time. They call it "pretty food". I've introduced them to new and different foods since they were barely old enough to talk, and the only response I needed was the sign for "More, please". (Yes, I taught them sign language too.) If we stop bathing everything in sauce, lighter, fresher fare would be more appealing. I can't wait to try the rotini dish with the peas!

I have a rule that my son has to at least try one bite of something. He has to chew and swallow it before deciding whether or not he likes it. He likes so many things and would love most of these!

Look great, but if someone could convince my kids to try even one of them I'd probably kiss their feet. My son loves burgers, and he loves cheese- I cannot force him to try a cheeseburger! They love pasta, and they love tomatoes- will not touch pasta with tomatoes (if not in a smooth sauce form). I don't know many kids that would eat these actually.

My sentiments exactly - my kids aren't mini adults with refined tastes but hopefully in 10 years:)
