My dental insurance only covers the stupid "silver" fillings, not the white ones. Luckily my dentist only does the white ones.... I mean I guess its lucky (I had to pay a lot more).

yeah, they call them "silver" fillings. You can request not to have these fillings. Some dentists specialize in removing them, but it costs a lot.

I am so glad people are finally realizing this!! The FDA has been allowing this for years, and it is so dangerous. Did anyone see the Smoking Teeth video on you tube? No thanks!!

Yikes. I never knew those things contained mercury. I mean... we DO know that mercury is a poison, yes? :/ Most of my metal fillings have been replaced by the ceramic ones over the years, but I think I still have one metal one left... and I'm currently trying to get pregnant. I'd better ask my dentist about this one ASAP.
