Rachel Zoe Shows Off Her Pregnant Belly

Rachel Zoe Transports Her Big Bump in Sky-High Boots

Rachel Zoe's clients love to come to her for no-holds-barred fashion advice, but it doesn't look like the celebrity stylist is one to follow her own directions.

In her guide to a stylish pregnancy wardrobe, the Zoe Report author suggested keeping an expectant mama's feet comfortable: "You can stay stylish yet at ease in a pair of wedges or flats." But while out for a lunch and shopping trip with her husband, Rodger Berman, and their niece, the eight-months-pregnant Rachel chose a pair of sky-high, over-the-knee, platform boots.

Dressed in head-to-toe black, the stylist did follow the rest of her maternity tips, wearing leggings, a loose top and "a pair of do-not-disturb oversized sunnies to hide fatigue!"

meli8, I completely agree. it bugs me to no end when pregnant women act like people who think wearing heels when pregnant is crazy. they look at you like you're some old-fashioned Nazi - I'm not the one who risks hurting my baby because I'm too stubborn to not wear my heels for 9 months. no, it's not that big of a risk, but why would anyone even bother?

My ob/gyn would have had my head if he caught me in those shoes!

When you're pregnant your center of gravity changes because your middle gets bigger and throws off your balance. I would never risk falling wearing shoes that tall. I'm all for looking good and wearing shorter (and possibly a chunkier heel) but those shoes are a bit much.
