Recall Alert: Safety 1st Toilet & Cabinet Locks

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (with Health Canada) announced a voluntary recall of Safety 1st Sure Fit toilet locks and Safety 1st cabinet locks due to almost 400 reports of small children being able to disengage the locks and gain access to hazardous materials, or being able to expose themselves to drowning risk in the toilet tank.

Approximately 183,000 toilet locks are under recall (models 48003 and 48103), and 685,000 cabinet locks (models 12013 and 12014), so be safe and check your locks to ensure your child's safety! If you have one of these locks, please remove it immediately and contact DJG toll-free at (877) 416-8105 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday to receive a non-recalled replacement lock.
