Quiche is a crowd-pleasing, one-dish meal that takes only minutes to prepare. This basic but authentically French recipe lends itself to whatever combination of veggies, meat, or seafood you have on hand, and uses a store-bought crust to speed the process of getting dinner on the table.
1 prepared pie crust (give yourself a break; use the frozen, pre-made kind that comes in a disposable foil pan)
1/2 cup of milk
2 large spoonfulls of sour cream
salt & pepper
extras: chopped broccoli, ham, cheese, or whatever you have on hand
1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees and bake the crust for a few minutes until lightly golden.
2. Spread ingredients (whatever you want to put in your quiche) in the crust: broccoli, ham, cheese....etc.
3. Mix all remaining ingredients together in one bowl: 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of milk, 2 large spoonfulls of sour cream, salt & pepper. Pour the mixture into the pie crust over all.
4. Bake in the oven at 425 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
