This is good to know for the future. (I got them all wrong!) I did work with a woman who within the first few weeks of knowing she was pregnant gained 10+ lbs and was walking around rubbing her extended belly. Good to be happy, but she was just rubbing fat I'm afraid. ;)

I felt like i was STARVING the first time around, and ate a lot more then I was before. Since i only craved vegetables, (think the bags of mixed veggies used for stir fry) i gave into my cravings and actually lost quite a bit of weight. This pregnancy I haven't gained any weight at all, but i can't say i've had any urge to eat any more then normal. The things i crave aren't acceptable foods (heavily fried foods, which i normally despise) so no indulging even on that end.

4/5. I went against my gut (no pun intended) on #5. Luckily my weight was pretty on point all through my pregnancy. I only had 8 pounds to lose after she was born. That went pretty quickly. Everyone always said "you're eating for two now!" I had to remind them that you only need 300 extra calories to support the pregnancy, so I pretty much did what I normally did (although I could never pass up a pastry with my morning decaf!

100% The guidelines drive me crazy though.. I was made out to be a "bad mom" because I didn't gain any weight in my first trimester, even though I was eating everything that I should. Finally starting to show now at 6 months, but I'm sure the OB will give me crap for putting on 8lbs in 2 weeks. You can't win, but I know my baby is healthy :)

I know the main one that counts... 300 extra calories a day :) I am pregnant right now and about 1/2 way through this ride. My weight has been going great and I have had no concerns so far.
