Some of my most vivid childhood memories involve sitting at the kitchen table and playing with Play-Doh sets for hours on end. Now that my daughter's about to turn two, I planned on purchasing some and even found an organic version, but a friend recently cautioned against it.
When she introduced her son to the classic modeling clay, she envisioned afternoons of creative play. Instead, she found herself finding tiny wads of the dried up dough in every corner of her home for days after the lids had been replaced on the containers. She also started making up excuses as to why he couldn't bring out the sets, fearing that she'd spend the next five years of her life finding the lil pieces in crevices that she didn't even know existed.
Do you allow Play-Doh? And, do you have any tricks for keeping it contained?
